Well gt5 better have good updates all year round .. Otherwise they’ll lose to forza which will no doubt out-do gt5 in it’s next iteration .

what clues can we gleam  from this debut trailer.. well looks like kinect will allow yo to drive casually ie fun driving but this is the amazing bit with all the hardcore physics of forza 3 intact,plus it appears you can inspect the innards of your vehicle using kinect like crouching down and viewing your shiny alloys on your ferrari .Also the end frame of the vid  shows the topgear logo!? Meaning it will either have videos from the show or similar to gt5 will let you drive around the topgear track in the game ? lets hope it has more real tracks!

new halo reach trailer, and if  we are to believe that this is the actual game  engine
running in this trailer then we  will be happy indeed!

one word, sweeeeet! its slick and quick to browse your 360 now…

Even though using this prior to launch stops the live connection(unless you are on the public preview list which is now closed) no ban as far as all are concerned sharing is caring says microsoft ..but you can still see the install features which greatly reduce the noise of the dvd drive when preloading areas in games ..so much quieter now in fact playing midnight and i cant recall a time when it made that typical spinning up roar!

Talking of Midnight club, it loads that little bit quicker at launch and during the race meetups (and only takes about 4/5 mins to install) gta4 next ..:)

You also get a new hdmi colourspace option which is a bonus, only other system having such tech options is the ps3 superbright white mode options etc and rgb mode but this nxe update brings it now:

1. Auto: Automatically use RGB or YCbCr based on HDMI recommendations for resolution and content type
2. Source- Automatically use RGB or YCbCr based on game or video source
3. RGB-Always display games and videos in GRB format. RGB is supported by all HDMI- compliant displays
4. YCbCr709- Always display…. YCbCr709 is typically used for HD movies
5. YCbCr601- Always display……YCbCr601 is typically used for SD movies

Good stuff at least you now have some options if you colour levels or look of your hd films (if you still use the addon) doesnt look right you can now output the colourspace to match your screen type.. hdmi 1.3 set owners should be able to use these extended ranges ..and get better colour matching to their hd tv (use a calibration disc to make sure its all good btw if your really interested in this; I’ve used this DVE HD calibration bluray disc on my homesetup with myps3 but you can also get the hd-dvd or dvd version if you wanted to try it through your 360)

Also the blades are still there but in mini form when yoo press the guide light button you get most settings you had before in mini blade mode..but comethe 19th the avatars and all live features will kick in but till then you can search on torrentz for example for a xbox nxe dash file!…put in on a usb or burn to cd the one folder and load it up! bring it.

More to come on my succesful bringing back to life of the consoles I have broken, I mean my DS was fried, found three spots to fix – only needs a new power switch now but I may add a touch button instead! Its all about the modding !..
p.s my ps2 I will post on also maybe even my xbox360 too (which had the 3rings of death issue) if i have the time; now the ps2 was really really dead , can I hear “no spindle motor working”? oh yeah ” what no laser firing!” oh yeah baby, you know dead like a Britneys spear’s music career kinda dead !coming soon…

Great solo game so far, multiplayer is fun too but I may well have to purchase that keyboard/mouse adapter (will try to find post on that) im finding it tricky with the pad alone , I’m getting pwned!!!
Graphics are more or less what you’d expect pretty decent water fx and hdr lighting/shadowing are pretty awesome- frames rates are holding up so far so nicely!..more maybe too come..since I’ve not finished the fight yet…
