6 pounds it will be to you ,out right now… intial review, it works smoothly pretty well mayeb cos backgrounds are a bit sparse of polygons (3gs) touchpad is fairly responsive, can do most of my combo break combo ultra finishers with ease.. something iphone users probably were not expecting  to hear but so far v1 is a good job well done..

no more scrambling for a mouse/kboard

iphone has a nice app thanks to logitech called touch mouse now you can use you computer from the sofa without the hassle of keyboards and mousy lying around ready to be stepped upon! It runs smooth has left middle and right buttons and a keyboard ;some mousey type settings you have come to expect from desktop mouse config control panels etc(trackspeed sensivity to name one) works via wifi on your network. it just works.. and the app is free !

interesting article about how o2 are sorting out thier coverage/cell overload issues.. by using vodafone towers!(although read article as it might still be worth leaving them to go to voda network…if you prefer youtube running at decent speeds!)

custom apn -save money abroad on data charges

go here via link/pic (only through your iphone safari) to make a fake apn mobileconfig(or a custom one) which you can install right now,which should stop those nasty $/£ surprise when returning from holiday only to find out your iphone has secretly been on EDGE getting you your latest weather reports whilst not on wifi connections !dang! (ps tethering still looks blocked by apple on os 3.1.2 so this still needs a  jailbreakin to fix ..)

apparantly very legal..if you read faq like we did lol yes you need a tv license still -here in uk, to watch these free-to-air channels. And the bitrate for you techys is at around 768 Kb total per stream..(why-o-why then slingbox do you not work well on the iphone even with a large  bitrate and lots of money for your apps&hardware

..also are you wondering why they are called tvcatchup?even though its live streaming tv? Well due to legal rangling they removed the pioneering network pvr setup they had been known for(for now ) but it is being looked into for the future..

wow watching bbc1 at proper frame rate( and amazing resolution quality (unlike the hindered slingbox app GRRrr !!) smooth through the safari browser

how long will this last then.. make your bets please.

ps (slingmedia you suck balls this is how it should run and i might add this is running this great at 3g speeds not stuck on wifi like you/o2/at&t force us too)rant over

o2 charge £15 a month for a txt file..tethering fail

you can setup tethering without the cost by installing a mere tiny mobile config file which o2 would normally charge you for if you didnt perhaps pass by here or the site in question which lets you install this : here

VISIT THIS POST VIA YOUR IPHONE SAFARI BROWSER TO INSTALL DIRECTLY FROM SITE

http://help.benm.at/ or click the top image and it will go straight there

  1. go to link above or click image it will take you there
  2. pick country
  3. choose your provider ( contract or payg)
  4. choose to install(it will warn you just go ahead)
  5. plug it in after installation to your laptop and it sohuld pop up a network config window and  or just pair it to your laptop and then your phone sohuld go a nice  glowing blue !

just visit this link via your iphone choose your country and type of account (contract or payasyougo) and thats it connecto pc via usb or pair it via bluetooth and you should have laptop viewing the web via your phones 3g service! sweet!!!!up yours o2 !

also MMS  settings also at this site so check them both out and setup your iphone correctly
