pc bioses have finally come of age

At last a bios to match the one (and only one I remember EVER seeing in a pc) on a mothrboard i had called topgun ; You could see graphics ! for starters ( this is back in the 90′s i mean this was amaaaazing and rare) and use your mouse to navigate ..remember bios’s up until 2011 have pretty much stayed as text with drill down based menus …very 1978..
Now asus , gigabyte and co have finally caught up to that famed motherboard and produced quite frankly an amazing front end for your motherboard ,heres a vid showing 3 top motherboards with the new uefi type bios

notice the canon is quite dark, this would be horrible to deal with in post production

About time ! most peeps have been using the canons profiler to install more useful video settings using kodachrome or flat cinema profiles for example created by users in the know of many a forum .. but its nice for the official guys to bring their flat curves to the table ,all this means if you’ve been living under a rock – that you can get more info out of your crushed video than you normally would from canons defaults therefore enabling  detailed postgrading/manipulating ;trouble is can you still find that canon  utility disc that came with your camera!!..(leaves desk to go search the loft…)

Streets of Rage Remake Is Finally Finished…..

8ight years later that is !

one of my all time fav 16 bit games . And I cant believe someone had the geek-out to make this happen but thankfully they did and its here..it looks amazing(with scanline optiosn galore for that sony trinitron feel) like you could be mistaken for thinking your playing an original sega game inside an emulator (lets hope they dont sue him, i mean how embarassing not just because of the david v goliath reasons alone but for the sheer fact this is better than what they could release these days on xbox arcade or psn store for example, its that authentic.
This is no flash game nonsense people this is the real deal a ‘.exe ‘ file something that runs natively(works great in ‘wine’ emulation on linux too!)

hit&mix ,music mashup galore

hello youtube prepare for my new mashup channel! im gonna mashup all manner of tings! ” from abba to zztop. its all going highpitched and drumm solo likes!
Had a play on the free version , and its pretty slick really tries its best to separate the individuals parts of a song, its pretty fun little tool, quality is pretty decent considering what its trying to do, but hopefully the future pro version will tighten the separate tracks and filter them even better.Its going to be a boon for those who have little time to mashup a youtube clip with some funky track , be warned youtube will be full of crazy versions of your favourate bands any day now ..
