pc bioses have finally come of age

At last a bios to match the one (and only one I remember EVER seeing in a pc) on a mothrboard i had called topgun ; You could see graphics ! for starters ( this is back in the 90′s i mean this was amaaaazing and rare) and use your mouse to navigate ..remember bios’s up until 2011 have pretty much stayed as text with drill down based menus …very 1978..
Now asus , gigabyte and co have finally caught up to that famed motherboard and produced quite frankly an amazing front end for your motherboard ,heres a vid showing 3 top motherboards with the new uefi type bios

The Technicolor CineStyle™ is a Picture Style (profile) for Canon EOS DSLR cameras that optimizes the dynamic range in the image by leveraging the capabilities of the Canon imaging chipset. Cinematographers and their post-production partners will have greater flexibility in color grading and finishing their projects.

 

notice the canon is quite dark, this would be horrible to deal with in post production

About time ! most peeps have been using the canons profiler to install more useful video settings using kodachrome or flat cinema profiles for example created by users in the know of many a forum .. but its nice for the official guys to bring their flat curves to the table ,all this means if you’ve been living under a rock – that you can get more info out of your crushed video than you normally would from canons defaults therefore enabling  detailed postgrading/manipulating ;trouble is can you still find that canon  utility disc that came with your camera!!..(leaves desk to go search the loft…)
