or its just possibly the famous mail rail tunnels hidden away from the surface dwellers for many years..The Post Office underground railway!

some crazy folk raved there once.near oxford street (one of many entrances) but now pretty much finished for good(and with crossrail engeneering work  in and around that area will probably mean many mailrail tunnel areas being breeched by the works.. so this is possibly the only set of photos taken recently whilst the tunnels were still complete albeit in an abandoned and mostly bricked walled state)

My inner Gordon Freeman (with crowbar in hand) would have loved to go running in those tunnels exploring all nooks and crannies! enjoy!
